Kiwi Kiwi Privacy Rights and Data Requests

Effective Date: June 15, 2026

1. Privacy requests

Kiwi Kiwi provides privacy request options through the in-app support flow, the privacy request channel on the Kiwi Kiwi website, or another privacy contact method we make available.

Users may be able to request access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, limitation, appeal, or other privacy rights depending on where they live and applicable law.

2. Data download

Kiwi Kiwi does not provide a self-service “Download My Data” product flow. If one becomes available, or if we provide eligible data in response to a privacy request, the information may exclude anything that would compromise privacy, safety, security, legal privilege, internal enforcement systems, or another person’s rights.

An eligible data export or privacy request response may include categories such as:

  • Account and profile information.
  • Photos and profile media metadata.
  • Saved profiles and token/match history.
  • Messages and chat media metadata, where legally and technically available.
  • Private notes you own.
  • Block Contacts records you created, with masked values where appropriate.
  • Purchase/account activity summaries.
  • Verification status summaries.
  • Settings and notification preferences.

An eligible data export or privacy request response may not include:

  • Another person’s private notes about you.
  • Internal safety, fraud, security, moderation, or enforcement signals.
  • Security credentials, provider-only records, sensitive operational details, or other information that would compromise security or privacy.
  • Information we cannot disclose because it would reveal another person’s privacy, safety, account existence, report identity, security controls, or legal privilege.
  • Deleted or de-identified information that is no longer reasonably available.

3. Correction

You can update many profile fields directly in the app. Some fields, such as birthdate, may be locked after initial entry for safety and eligibility reasons. If you believe locked account information is inaccurate, contact support.

4. Deletion

You can request account deletion through the account deletion flow. Deletion is different from a privacy access request and may not remove all records immediately or completely. Some records may be retained for legal, safety, fraud, purchase, accounting, moderation, dispute, enforcement, backup, or legitimate business reasons.

See the Account Deletion Policy.

5. Opt-out

Kiwi Kiwi does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used under U.S. state privacy laws unless we disclose the practice and provide any legally required opt-out method.

6. Authorized agents

Depending on your state, you may be able to use an authorized agent to submit certain privacy requests. We may ask for proof that the agent is authorized and may also ask you to verify your identity directly with us.

7. Appeals

If we deny your privacy request, you may have the right to appeal. We will explain how to appeal in our response if an appeal right applies.

8. Verification and safety exceptions

We may need to verify that you control the account before processing a request. We may deny or limit a request when required or allowed by law, including to protect another person’s privacy or safety, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, protect security, preserve evidence, enforce our Terms, or exercise legal rights.
