Kiwi Kiwi provides search, tokens, matching, chat, and safety controls. No app can guarantee another person’s identity, intentions, background, or safety. Use caution online and when meeting someone.

1. Understand verification limits

KIWI KIWI DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS ON ITS MEMBERS. We do not routinely check every member against sex-offender registries. Our rules prohibit ineligible and dishonest accounts, but rules do not prove that every account complies.

Phone verification is not legal-identity or age verification. Photo Verification checks liveness and current-photo criteria; it is not a background check or a guarantee of identity, intentions, safety, or trustworthiness. A complete profile, badge, token, or mutual match is not a promise that you will meet or that the interaction is genuine in every respect.

2. Protect personal information

Avoid giving a stranger your full name, home/work address, phone number, personal email, daily routine, financial details, account credentials, government documents, or information about children. Do not put identifying information in a profile or early messages that you would not want copied or misused.

Approximate distance and city labels can still reveal context. Do not disclose precise real-time whereabouts simply because another person asks. Stop communicating if someone pressures or tricks you into providing personal or financial information.

3. Recognize warning signs

Be cautious about inconsistent stories, pressure to leave the app immediately, suspicious links, secrecy, rapid emotional pressure, or claims of emergencies followed by requests for money. A person claiming to be traveling, deployed, stranded, or unable to meet may be genuine, but those stories do not justify sending money or credentials.

Early use of Kiwi Kiwi’s chat retains access to its in-app report and block controls. It does not make the conversation risk-free or guarantee that every message is reviewed.

4. Do not send money

Do not send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, bank details, payment-app transfers, or account credentials to someone you met through a dating profile. Do not participate in investment schemes or send funds for purported travel, medical, visa, or other emergencies.

Use the in-app report tools to report suspected scams. Contact your financial provider promptly about unauthorized financial activity and consider the appropriate fraud-reporting authority. A Kiwi Kiwi report is not a substitute for those steps.

5. Use the right control

Reject/pass declines a received token. Revoke withdraws a sent token when available. Unmatch ends an active match. Block/report addresses unwanted contact or suspected violations. Block Contacts is a separate Search-avoidance feature for selected personal contacts. Search visibility changes discovery exposure, not all existing relationships or records.

Reporting generally blocks the reported account from you, but does not guarantee investigation, a ban, a replacement token, or a specific result. Legally required removal/reporting duties remain separate. Do not assume a report has made a person safe or prevented their activity elsewhere.

Use app and device notification settings to control what can appear on a lock screen. Be mindful that someone with access to your device may see alerts or other content.

6. Meeting in person

Meet in a busy public place. Tell a trusted person whom you are meeting, where, and when you plan to return or check in. Use transportation you control; do not arrange the first pickup at your home. Keep your phone charged and a way to leave available.

Watch your drink and belongings, avoid impairment, and leave when uncomfortable. You do not owe continued conversation, a date, physical contact, or an explanation for leaving. A member’s token use does not create any personal obligation.

Kiwi Kiwi does not provide a native Share Date or check-in service in this version. Arrange any trusted-person check-in separately.

Consent should be freely given, specific, and ongoing. Silence, a match, a prior date, prior sexual contact, or previously sharing an image is not consent to a new act or distribution. Respect changes of mind. Do not pressure someone who is hesitant, impaired, or unable to consent.

Discuss boundaries and, when relevant, sexual-health expectations and protection. Seek a qualified health professional for personal health questions. Do not assume another member’s statements establish their health status.

8. Nonconsensual imagery and exploitation

If an intimate image or video of you appears without consent, you or your representative can request removal through support@kiwikiwi.dating, even without an account. The Community Guidelines removal process explains the required information and applicable 48-hour removal obligation for valid TAKE IT DOWN Act requests. The period starts when a valid request is received, not when a report is first opened for review.

Do not download, forward, or email suspected child sexual abuse material. Identify where it appears using report/location information instead. For immediate risk to a child or another person, contact emergency services or the appropriate authorities.

9. Identity and context-specific safety

Consider whether displaying orientation, religion, gender identity, workplace, or other information could create risks in your circumstances. Optional details can be omitted or removed. Do not out, threaten to out, or disclose another person’s private identity or health information.

Online and offline risks vary by situation. A location label or a verified badge does not establish that a place or person is safe. Trusted friends, qualified victim-support services, medical professionals, or legal resources may be appropriate sources of help.

10. If something goes wrong

Get to safety first. Use emergency services for immediate danger. Preserve non-illegal identifying details of what occurred when safe, without redistributing intimate or prohibited imagery. Report, block, or unmatch as appropriate and contact support@kiwikiwi.dating for account help.

Experiencing deception or abuse is not a moral failure by the victim. Member judgment and platform safeguards have limits. Kiwi Kiwi’s lack of a dating-outcome guarantee does not remove nonwaivable legal rights or mandatory safety obligations.
