Kiwi Kiwi Token Purchase Terms
Last updated: September 26, 2026
1. What a token provides
A token is a limited digital item for expressing interest and creating a mutual match inside Kiwi Kiwi. Buying or sending a token does not guarantee a response, match, conversation, date, relationship, or continued interaction. It also does not guarantee another member’s identity, authenticity, sincerity, eligibility, availability, or safety.
A token is consumed only when a mutual in-app match is formed under the matching rules. Sending alone is not consumption. An unmatched sent token is subject to the displayed return, rejection, and revocation rules, including the ordinary waiting period before a sender may revoke it. A consumed token is not automatically returned when a conversation ends or a match is unsuccessful.
These Terms supplement the Terms of Service. Nothing here excludes a right that law or an applicable app-store policy requires.
2. Token license and limits
Tokens are not currency, deposits, investments, or a cash account. You receive a limited personal right to use them in Kiwi Kiwi, not a right to resell, transfer, lend, trade, or redeem them outside the service. This does not eliminate mandatory rights relating to purchased digital items or refunds.
The app displays available purchase quantities, current capacity, and applicable price before checkout. Purchase capacity and the capacity for active sent tokens or matches are separate limits. The account record, rather than an out-of-date screen, determines current capacity. Non-purchase credits may have a different effect on capacity from a new store purchase.
3. Buying through Apple or Google
Token purchases use Apple App Store or Google Play consumable in-app purchases. The store handles payment credentials, checkout, applicable taxes, and its own purchase records. Kiwi Kiwi receives transaction information needed to validate purchases, provide tokens, prevent duplicate grants, and process later refunds or reversals. We do not receive your full payment-card number from the store.
This version of Kiwi Kiwi does not sell recurring subscriptions, web token purchases, or paid visibility boosts. Prices and availability may vary by product, store, region, or a disclosed promotion; the checkout terms govern the purchase you approve.
4. Delivery and purchase recovery
After a successful store purchase, Kiwi Kiwi verifies the transaction and records the token grant. Delivery and store finalization can occur at different times. An interrupted connection may require reconciliation or recovery; it does not make a paid purchase disappear or authorize charging you again for the same grant.
If a valid purchase completes after capacity changes, the paid grant is handled under the existing delivery rules even if that temporarily places the account over its ordinary purchase limit. New purchases may then be limited until there is room. We do not create a negative balance or debt merely because valid paid delivery crossed that limit.
Use the app’s purchase-recovery options or support@kiwikiwi.dating for missing tokens or incorrect account activity. Do not email passwords, sign-in codes, raw purchase tokens, or other secret purchase credentials. A genuine delivery or accounting defect is different from dissatisfaction with a dating outcome.
5. Refunds and token recovery
Routine requests for monetary refunds on store purchases should be directed to Apple or Google through their refund processes. Kiwi Kiwi does not provide an in-app refund-request feature. Contact support can help with purchase-delivery or statutory-rights issues, but submitting a support message does not itself submit an Apple/Google refund request or change a purchase. Apple and Google decide store requests under their policies. Kiwi Kiwi will also honor obligations that applicable law places on Kiwi Kiwi directly; using store checkout does not remove those obligations.
After a verified refund, chargeback, void, or other applicable reversal, we may recover eligible unspent tokens. This may include original purchased tokens and eligible substitute unspent tokens already in the account, with the recovery limited by the actual obligation. Eligible sent-but-unmatched tokens can be returned and recovered without the usual sender revocation wait.
We do not undo completed matches or delete chats to recover tokens already consumed in a match. We do not raid future purchases to repay an old unrecovered amount or create a negative token balance for that purpose. Confirmed refund reversals are reconciled under the applicable provider and account rules rather than duplicating earlier grants.
6. Optional Apple refund-information sharing
On iOS, Settings → Payments & Purchase History includes an optional permission for Kiwi Kiwi to share limited purchase-use information with Apple when Apple requests it for a refund review. The setting starts off and is separate from accepting the general Terms.
When the required permission and legal conditions are met, the information may include whether purchased content was delivered, how much of the relevant token purchase was consumed, and a refund recommendation. This is not permission to send Apple your dating profile, matches’ identities, private messages, location, or face-verification data.
Current permission is checked before each actual send or retry. Turning the setting off prevents subsequent optional sends; it cannot recall information already delivered to Apple. Apple remains responsible for its refund decision. Granting, refusing, or withdrawing this permission does not guarantee approval or denial of a refund and does not prevent ordinary purchase/refund processing.
Pause, Freeze and missing participation details do not by themselves settle interactions or qualify for permanent-Ban replacement credits. A sender may revoke a sent-but-unmatched token before its normal unlock time when the recipient is authoritatively unavailable for dating. The original timer continues. Unban restores only eligible unspent value still belonging to the current account; it does not recreate consumed, recovered or deleted tokens, reopen settled interactions, or reverse another member’s compensation. Any discretionary goodwill is separately recorded. A deleted account receives no restoration or goodwill.
7. Limited enforcement-related replacement credits
If Kiwi Kiwi bans an account and an interaction qualifies under the applicable replacement-credit rules, the affected member may receive a limited replacement token credit. Qualification depends on the actual enforcement action, the eligible interaction and timing, and whether that interaction has already been compensated. It does not cover every person who viewed or communicated with the account.
Temporary restrictions, reports, or suspicions alone do not trigger the permanent-ban credit program. Qualifying credits are non-purchase credits, not cash refunds or restoration of the original consumed token. They do not recreate a terminated interaction, match, or chat. The credit program is not a warranty that other members are real, trustworthy, or sincerely dating.
An allegation, report, unanswered message, unmatch, absence of a meeting, or other disappointing interaction does not by itself qualify for a replacement. We do not promise a ban or investigation to create eligibility. These limits do not allow us to withhold an already-earned benefit under applicable published rules or override a nonwaivable remedy.
8. Other non-purchase grants
We may issue tokens for signup, referrals, promotions, support, or other administrative purposes under the rules of the specific grant. Those credits are not new store purchases. Credits issued by mistake or obtained through fraud or abuse may be corrected subject to applicable law and any commitments made for the grant.
9. Account deletion, bans, and availability
Deleting an account or being banned can end access to unused tokens, matches, and history as described in the Account Deletion Policy and enforcement rules. A ban is not the same as account deletion. Neither event automatically creates a store refund, but mandatory legal and app-store rights remain.
Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete an account or reset token balances. Creating a different account does not entitle you to move purchases or duplicate grants.
10. Expiration and changes
Ordinary tokens do not expire on a fixed schedule unless an applicable, clearly disclosed product or promotional rule provides otherwise. Tokens may become unavailable through consumption, a verified refund, lawful enforcement, or account deletion.
We may change future products, pricing, or program rules prospectively. Changes do not retrospectively reduce delivered paid tokens or already-earned benefits except as permitted by the applicable rules and law. We do not guarantee that the service or a particular product will continue indefinitely, and any service discontinuation remains subject to applicable consumer rights.
11. Restore and reconciliation
Purchase recovery verifies store transactions against Kiwi Kiwi’s existing records. It does not repeatedly issue new tokens for an already-delivered purchase or recreate consumed tokens. Recovery, a refund, a provider reversal, and a replacement credit are separate events.
12. State-specific dating-service rights
The following explains rights where the relevant state dating-service law applies to your contract. It does not impose a subscription, a new token-expiration date, or a nationwide refund promise. Required completed contract copies and cancellation notices remain part of the applicable transaction; these general terms do not replace them.
Arizona. For a contract covered by Arizona’s dating-referral-services law, you may rescind within three business days after signing. The statutory method is a signed written notice sent by certified mail to the enterprise at the address specified in the contract, or personally delivered to that address or its facility. The statutory refund is due within 30 days after receipt of the notice. The law defines a business day by when the enterprise facility is open for business, excluding Sundays and other legal holidays. Contact support for assistance without giving up these statutory methods or rights. Covered contracts must meet the law’s written-copy, term, and nonwaiver requirements. We do not divide contracts to evade those requirements.
New York. For a covered social-referral-service contract, you may cancel without a cancellation fee within three business days after physically or electronically receiving a copy of the written contract. A signed and dated notice may be emailed to support@kiwikiwi.dating or sent by certified or registered mail to the address specified in the contract. Payments subject to a valid cancellation are returned within 10 business days following receipt of the notice. The completed notice supplied with the applicable contract identifies the transaction and cancellation deadline.
New York law also provides additional rights for covered contracts, including a written request to place membership on hold for up to one year; specified rights when required referrals are not provided; and requirements concerning private information at the end of services. Its online-search exception does not guarantee any number of dates or in-person meetings. The Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights below explains those protections. We honor mandatory protections without conditioning them on accepting a replacement token or pursuing only the store’s discretionary refund process.
If you permanently move outside the area in which Kiwi Kiwi can provide its service, contact support. We assess the affected service and provide any cancellation or refund remedy required by applicable law; we do not require continued payment for an unavailable service or substitute token credit for a required monetary refund.
Other jurisdictions. Any applicable cancellation, death/disability, refund, or other nonwaivable consumer remedy remains available even if not separately described here.
New York Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights
This notice describes the statutory protections for a covered New York social-referral-service contract, subject to the law’s express online-service exceptions.
- A social-referral-service contract generally may not require more than $1,000 or extend beyond two years. New York provides an exception for qualifying online dating contracts whose initial and subsequent terms are each one year or less and whose higher payment is reasonable in light of the offerings. This notice does not itself impose a paid subscription or change your token-expiration rules.
- A provider may offer related goods or services, but may not require you to purchase such ancillary services as a condition of entering the social-referral-service contract.
- For a covered contract costing more than $25, New York generally requires a minimum number of referrals per month; online services with search functionality or presented possible matches are exempt from that minimum-number requirement. If the required referrals—or any social referral for an online service with search, algorithm-based, or location-based matching—are not furnished for two or more successive months, you may cancel and receive a full refund of all money paid under that contract, less only a lawfully applicable cancellation fee, if any. Under §394-c(4), that fee cannot exceed the greater of 15% of the contract’s cash price or a pro rata amount for the number of referrals furnished. The contract and Bill of Rights must explain any applicable fee calculation. This summary does not impose a Kiwi Kiwi cancellation fee, determine which Kiwi Kiwi agreement or transaction is covered, or promise dates or meetings.
- The law generally requires a contract to identify the distance you are willing to travel and limits referrals beyond that distance. Its stated exception applies to online dating services generally available on a regional, national or global basis.
- The provider must establish and administer a fair and reasonable policy for a permanent move outside its service area and explain that policy in the contract. Kiwi Kiwi’s relocation provision above preserves applicable cancellation and refund remedies when the service cannot be provided at the new location.
- If a provision of a covered contract is violated, you have the right to bring a court action against the provider. Mandatory rights are not removed by Kiwi Kiwi’s general disclaimers or liability cap.
The separate three-business-day cancellation right and the additional protections described above remain applicable where required. This summary does not replace the completed contract and transaction-specific cancellation notice that the law requires.
13. Mandatory rights and contact
Applicable cancellation, rescission, refund, and other consumer rights prevail over any inconsistent limit in this document. Token purchases are not described as unconditionally nonrefundable. Any mandatory state-specific contract notice or remedy remains applicable even though Kiwi Kiwi does not use a subscription model.
Contact support@kiwikiwi.dating for account or purchase-delivery problems. A support contact does not itself change a purchase, token, or provider decision.
